oh my! i can't believe it.... my paypal account is now verified by linking to my smart money mastercard. i was having a hard time at first, but then just follow the instructions given here... and voila! my paypal account is now verified! the catch here, i think, is you have to unlock your smart card for internet transaction each and everytime to have to pay for the charges..., so your smart card must have a balance of at least 200php.... and always view your paypal account after each transaction for further instructions til you get verified... smart will text you the 4digit code you have to enter in order to complete the trnasaction and get verified...

akari battery chargers in SM/ACE hardware

I found akari NIMH battery chargers in SM, ACE hardware to be exact. 3-4 models. At least 2 models have the negative delta V spec printed on the back. One costs 1300 pesos and has 4 slots, one costs 800 pesos and has 2 slots.

I dont have any pics and I dont have the exact specs but since SM stores are spread all over the country, this means that more and more of our citizens now have access to a reasonably priced smart charger, assuming this is real of course.

Buying cellphone smart/globe load with Paypal online

website here.

I found out about this in tipidpc here. I am in no way connected with this. If you look at the prices on the website, theres a small fee. $10 = PHP. 300.00 and so on. The entire point of the website is you can buy prepaid cellphone load for the Philippines with paypal from anywhere in the world. Is this the best option? I dont know. You better compare prices and make your own decision.

How to Handle Sudden Unintended Acceleration: Video

DO
• Brake. Brake once, don't pump or ride the brakes. This will only heat up the brake pads, potentially overheating them and making them fail. It will take more force than you're used to to make the vehicle stop. Use both feet if you need to.
• Shift. Move the gearshift into neutral. If the throttle is truly stuck, the engine will redline and make a lot of noise, but it won't be damaged. The injection computer will keep it from over-revving. Leaving it running will keep the power brakes an power steering working normally. Obviously, if your car has a manual transmission, simply stepping on the clutch pedal will slow the car.
• Steer. Steer your car to a safe place off the road and away from traffic.

DON'T
• Pump the brakes.
• Shift into park. (Which won't engage at speed anyway.)
• Drag the brakes.
• Shut off the engine. (Well, shut off the engine as a last resort, but it may affect the brakes and steering, which will become heavier, although they'll remain operational.)
