Globe Tatoo and wimax caps

For many years globe had an obscure cap buried in the fine print of the contract when you sign up. But now it seems that Globe has finally come around to actually implementing it. I quoted some below.

The Globe @Home broadband service currently provides the following peak volume capacity depending on your plan:

* For WiMAX Prepaid: 1GB per account per day
* For WiMAX Postpaid 512kbps: 16GB-20GB per account per month
* For WiMAX Postpaid 1mbps: 21GB-25GB per account per month

The Globe Tattoo Prepaid Stick service provides a peak volume capacity currently set at 1 GB per account per day. Should you exceed the peak capacity within the day; the service will be temporarily unavailable until end of day. However, service will resume on the following day.

On the other hand, the Globe Tattoo Postpaid Stick provides a peak volume capacity currently set at 10 GB per account per month.

Why now when for years globe did not implement the cap? Perhaps it got emboldened by wi-tribe.

seriously? 10GB per month? I didn't see it on the contract. maybe the guy at globe was lying to me and did not show me an updated contract. he said he didn't have an updated contract available. so i signed the contract with the old plans. grr. i hate globe.

well maybe now that explains why my download speed is so slow. prepaid is better since it's 1gb per day. they could have given users 30gb per month and not 1gb. t
